Indah and Craig
We exchanged emails for a few months, and in October of 2007, had our first date. Craig was passing through So Cal with a minivan full of stuff to move to his new apartment, and I somehow agreed to meet up with him. We met at a send-off for my missions trip to New Orleans, and then went to see the musical "Wicked."
The rest is history. Craig claims he knew I was the one on his drive back to the Bay Area, but it took a little more convincing before we both knew it. I was a true eHarmony skeptic; I had a hard time believing a website could help me find the match of my dream. I only joined in the first place because my best friend from college met her husband through a dating website and she urged me to joined eHarmony. I wouldn't have done it if not because of her.
Once I started taking this relationship seriously things just fell into place the way I could only dream about. I'm still constantly amazed how right eHarmony was in pairing us. I met Craig's parents for Christmas a few months after we started dating seriously. By Valentine's Day I knew we were going to get our happily ever after.
I was so blessed that I was able to convince a very dear friend that I met during my Dental School years to join eHarmony and saw her meet her dream man. The man that she ended up with was so much more than I could have ever envisioned for her.
A few months ago under the guise of checking out a gondola ride for his parents' upcoming anniversary, Craig brought an unsuspecting me to Marina del Rey. The ride was delayed for an hour because of strong winds, but the wind finally died down and we were able to embark on the ride as the sun was setting.
Midway through the ride the gondolier, Larry, asked me to pick up a bottle floating in the water. This was no ordinary bottle as I soon found out. The message inside simply said, "Marry Me!!!!" As that sunk in, Craig got down on his knee and presented the ring in a jewel box filled with rose petals. After I put the ring on my finger I cried and cried and cried. I think I worried him a little bit, but it was so overwhelming to realize that this is it, at last.
Thank You eHarmony! Thank You Dr. Warren! Thank You all for mine and many others Happily Ever After!!!
