Bob and Linda
I'm so excited that eHarmony works. I signed up for eHarmony in July of 2007. I found a few matches I was interested in and went on a few dates. I was told that I was really picky and I should converse with more people. I was starting to think that eHarmony would not work and I was getting frustrated with it. Luckily, I signed up for a year and renewed for another year. I would recommend that everyone sign up for a year. It takes time and the process is important. You will feel more relaxed and time won't be of a concern.
I was matched with Linda. She was a flexible match because she was older than my target range. I did not contact her, because I originally wanted someone younger and not as tall. She sent me her first questions and I answered them. Usually the process takes many weeks to get to open communication, but we answered each other quickly. We had our first date. All went well and she even ordered dessert. The one constant was our ability to be open with one another and our ability to communicate with one another. We had our second date shortly after and have been dating ever since.
I'm glad I took the time to answer her questions even though she was outside my thought to be perfect match. She possesses all that I was looking for in a mate. Our goals and beliefs are similar. She is smart and beautiful. I'm 6'4" and she is 6' tall. I was always attracted to petite women, but I must say I have never met anyone more beautiful. She is 6' of perfection for me.
On April 25, 2009, she said yes to my proposal at the Grand Canyon just after sunrise. The weather was extremely windy and cold, but she warmed my heart when she said yes. Her kindness and gentleness touches so many and I'm excited that we will be partners for life.
I want to thank eHarmony for providing what they advertise. It has been a wonderful experience and I know it will lead to a lifetime of joy with my soul mate.
Thanks for making my life whole.
