Angel and Josh

Well something amazing has happened. I did something crazy, and look where it has brought me. It started a little while back when I was trying to get out of a rough relationship.
But I decided that since I could not find anyone real on my own, I would seek help. I signed up on eHarmony. I got a few matches, but a couple stood out to me, and yes I had picked a favorite long before meeting him. He seemed great from what I read about him. So I sent out some Q & A's to see what would happen, and it took a little while. But we finally made it.
I am glad eHarmony first put us together. The path to getting to this point was not easy, and I have made my mistakes. Well Memorial Day weekend Mom, Lana, Josh, and I took a trip to Charleston, SC. Saturday was mostly relaxing because it was about a 2 1/2 to 3 hour drive with stops and such.
But Sunday was great. I had no idea what was in store for us that night. That morning we took Lana to the South Carolina Aquarium. I got some pretty good videos from it. She just thought the fish were funny and interesting. I loved looking out over the harbor. But I love how Josh held her so she could see the diving show. Sharks and other big fish just swam right up to her! We stopped by the gift shop to look around, and Josh seemed to go straight to the stuffed animal section. I thought it was great that he wanted to find something for her that she would really like.
Not too much later, we dropped Lana off with Mom to have some time, just us. So well...I knew something was on his mind half the night, but I couldn't figure it out. He told me that he knew I was wondering why he was kind of in another world at times, and he knew that I was the girl he wanted to be with. Then it took some more time until he did it! He popped the question. I was so happy and excited, and speechless. What else could I do, I dropped, and said "Yes!"
The wedding was held September 6, 2008 at 2 pm. The ceremony was given by my family and our daughter, Lana was the flower girl. The next step is the adoption, and we could not be more excited. Thank you, eHarmony.
