Jessica and Trenton
Trenton and I met through eHarmony about 9 months ago and hit it off from the beginning. We have so much in common and have similar priorities and goals in life. Since he was working out of the country when we first met, we really got to know each other online and over telephone conversations for the first month. Our first date was on Oct. 31st (Halloween) and he took me to the "haunted" Melting Pot in downtown Littleton, CO. I thought he was extremely thoughtful and romantic at first impression because he brought back a gift for my daughter and me from Scotland and had a red rose waiting for me at the table at the restaurant. We both admit that we fell in love at that first date. Unfortunately he had to go back to Scotland after that weekend to finish up working on a project out there, and so it was another month before we reconnected for our second date! We couldn't get enough of each other. We spent every day together for a week. We have so much fun together exploring the outdoors going on hiking trips in Boulder or Red Rocks, and going white water rafting, etc.
I absolutely love how we are best friends and lovers at the same time....we have a bond between us to where it feels like we've known each other a lot longer than we actually have. We laugh so much together and enjoy seeing the lighter side to life. When we get together with our family they say "it's like hanging out with old friends!"
He took me out to the Melting Pot again to celebrate and after dinner he blind folded me and took me to my parent's house to my surprise my family and his parents were waiting for us....it was right there in the entry way that my daughter, Corinne, walked up in her beautiful white summer dress and gave Trent the ring box. He knelt down before both of us and asked for my hand in marriage! Afterwards, our family was snapping pictures like the paparazzi and we popped champagne and had a wonderful evening together!
I feel like the luckiest woman in the world to have met such an amazing man.
