Rachel and Paul

Rachel had been doing online dating for three and a half years and was giving it her last shot; I had been doing online dating for three and a half weeks and had only been on one date. I got Rachel as a match the day I was leaving for a long weekend in Las Vegas. Something told me to check my inbox before leaving, and at 5 am, I found an angel waiting for me.
Of course I immediately initiated contact with Rachel before heading out the door. What I didn't realize while I was living it up in Vegas was that Rachel immediately replied back to me and was rather impatiently waiting to hear back. So, when I returned from my trip and checked my inbox, I was pleased to see her response and quickly replied.
We ended up exchanging phone numbers and talked for the first time, and for HOURS. Among other things, Rachel filled me in on how she was wondering who the heck I think I am that I would take so long to reply to her. Luckily, the fact that I was out of town got me a pass.
Our first date was for dinner and drinks on January 20 at Raw in Philadelphia. We talked on the phone the whole way to the restaurant and met in front. As soon as we got inside, the owner spotted us and said, "First date, huh?" Needless to say, the date went well, and when the owner found us still at the restaurant at midnight, he treated us to a round on the house.
From that moment on we've been inseparable. We were engaged on March 30th and will be married on March 22, 2008.
