Kimberly and Bob
What first attracted me to Bob was that I noticed he was an outdoorsman. I truly enjoy the outdoors as well and it was nice to see that someone could exchange that same fulfilling experience with me. I knew that if I at least shared one major interest with Bob that we would hit it off very well.
Our first date was pretty interesting. Since Bob lives in Alaska and I live in Colorado, Bob flew from Alaska to Colorado for the first meeting. We met at the airport and we were waiting on each other. I wasn't sure if he was another person waiting for me until he finally came up the escalators near the fountains. He looked straight at me and I knew it was him, but as he approached and got closer, I noticed he looked like a 'nerd' and I was a little shocked that this was the first time I was meeting him. When he talked, he had this high pitched voice and he just hugged me. I kept embracing him because my first thought was, "Oh my, what was I thinking?!? I am going to have to introduce my family to this guy!" He pulled away, took off his nerd glasses, straightened his hat, took out the crooked teeth and we both started laughing very hard. I was so thankful that he was 'normal' looking. I was also happy that he has the same kind of sense of humor that I did. We had a good moment of kissing right after that. I knew that I was going to spend the rest of my life with him and it was just a matter of meeting him.I have previously tried a couple of other dating sites. The difference between eHarmony and the other ones is that it allows the opportunity to get to know tidbits about the other individual before making a determination if they are truly worthwhile to have communication with. I like that the process gave me choices and I had a chance to talk to many different people before making a determination if it was something I really wanted or not. I also like that it matched me with someone who is on my communicative level and challenging way of life. I like that my matches were incredibly close to the kinds of individuals that I like to date. I believe that the system did an excellent job finding someone who matched my very own criteria. Alaska is much different than the lower 48 states. I already miss Colorado, but sure do love Alaska. I would recommend eHarmony to anyone.
