Crystal and Brian
I spent a month there, enjoying the freedom of this unexpected vacation and time with my dearly missed family. Close the end of my time there, I was watching T.V. and saw the free "Memorial Day Weekend" trial of Eharmony. I thought about it for a few minutes, contemplating and asking, "To Eharmony or not to Eharmony, that is the question!".
I wasn't really looking to find the love of my life but my curiosity was stirred as to what kind of questions they ask you about yourself, your life, your dreams, desires, expectations etc...Little did I know that by honestly taking the time to be me, filling out this massively intense questionnaire and creating a profile with no walls or facades, that I would find my husband in a few hours. Or better yet, He would find me, pursue me and eventually ask me to be his bride, forever!
Brian, who lived in the surrounding Nashville area, had only been on Eharmony for a couple of weeks. In fact, we almost missed each other as my apartment was on the exact mileage of his preferred mile radius (25 miles) for the matching area! One kilometer more and we may have never been able to be matched, never been able to meet and never been where we are today. But thanks to God's plan and Eharmony as a tool for allowing us to find each other.
I didn't exactly know when my free trial was going to expire so by Sunday we were talking on the phone (from Arkansas to Tennessee) and growing friendship and in getting to know more about each other, our families, our beliefs etc. After a week from signing up for Eharmony, It was time for me to say goodbye to Arkansas and my family and head back to Nashville.
It was exactly a week after meeting on Eharmony that Brian and I finally had our first date. It was at a cute little sushi restaurant where we had great conversation and a lovely meal and we didn't want the night to end! We both were so comfortable with each other, 200% ourselves. I can't say I've been able to feel like that with very many people, it takes a while for me to let people in and for people to get to know me, but in the presence of this wonderful man I found myself totally at ease with nothing but ME shinning through and I know he felt the same way.
From that date on, we lived life together, got to know each others families, friends, laughed together, cried together and fell in love together.
