Robin and Eric
Eric:Robin's comments on her introductory pages really drew me to her. She immediately made an impression on me as someone who I really wanted to get to know better and meet. Robin's communications were always in-step with mine and I could tell within a few days that we had so much in common--I felt like we were separated at birth! Our first date was a casual dinner and coffee, but had a great "AHA" moment that bonded us. We fell in love on our third date on a pier overlooking the sound underneath fireworks in July--we say that we have "movie love"--the kind they write about in movies.
We got engaged on her parents' 40th engagement anniversary date (10/23) and were married on her parents' 40th anniversary (5/7/06). eHarmony gave us a context to get to know each other before meeting and that allowed me (and her I imagine) time to experience some initial reactions, commonalities, and interests. Other sites are just superficial, surface scratchers that failed to connect either of us with appropriate, like-minded matches. eHarmony put us together and we were like magnets for one another. We could not be any happier and owe our connection to eHarmony. Thanks!
Robin: Our first date was June 22, 2005. There was an immediate connection. We had so much in common and there were no awkward pauses. By our third date, we fell in love. It was like a fairy tale. I could not believe that I met someone this wonderful on a dating website. We had both tried JDate previously and I never met anyone I was interested in. eHarmony found numerous matches for me, but Eric was the first man I met and that was it for me. We just knew. We were married May 7, 2006. We are expecting a baby in June of 2007 and we are so happy and in love.
