More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Everyday life. Coffee in the morning, a glass of wine at night. Laughing with friends. Traveling-whether its a day trip to the beach or a winery to weekend getaways to taking off for a few weeks in a motorhome or on a plane. I love to see new places and experience new things. In the last year I have gone to Phoenix for Spring Training and loved it, went on an Alaska cruise this summer and Minneapolis for a week and have thousands of places I would love to see....ie, Catalina Island, every ballpark in US, every National Park, Europe and many other places.

I typically spend my leisure time

Walks, movies, reading, a farmers market, baseball games, camping, puttering around the house, gardening, going for a drive, concerts, bookstores, music stores, dinner with friends, going to the gym, cooking, dancing. I miss traveling in my motorhome, riding on a Harley, weekends in the Redwoods, having someone to grocery shop with and all those other "couple" things.

The most influential person in my life has been

Integrity. A sincere man who is upfront, easygoing, friendly and thoughtful.Someone whose life is simple-without crazy complications and is looking for a real relationship based on honesty, kindness and companionship.

The first thing people notice about me

I think it depends on where we meet. Im generally somewhat quiet but can be goofy with my friends, bossy at work, silly at happy hour.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I read a lot. I like biographies and non fiction best but I will read just about anything. I loved the DaVinci Code. The Handmaidens Tale blew me away. Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus, maybe a bit cliche but really an insightful book. I bought a lot of non-fiction adventure books in Alaska and am making my way through those. I did just throw away a Submarine Repair guide I found on my bookshelf...as far as I can remember I dont think I ever read that one.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. My friends and family
  2. My job and financial stability
  3. My general level of contentment

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

Im younger on the inside :)

Friends Describe me as

Easy-Going, Funny, Quiet, Warm

A little more about me

I cry at movies, I wish I lived where I could have all kinds of animals, I love to go out to eat, I try to avoid shopping unless its at Bev-Mo, REI or some funky shop, Im happy and I can flip eggs without a spatula. I think life is much more fun when you have someone to love. Also, I am very unphotogenic...I think Im way cuter in person. :)
