I had tried other dating sites with no luck.  I had given up on the thought of meeting someone online.  My Mother had seen a commercial for eHarmony and told me to try it.  I refused.  I knew what kind of people I met on the other site, and wanted NOTHING to do with internet dating.  She persisted, and after about several months I agreed.

Scott had been talking to friends about settling down, and had just moved to a new area and didn't know many people.  He joined eHarmony one weekend.  He had a couple of matches, but told his friends, "I like this girl the most!"  That was me!

Scott was the first person that I communicated in depth with.  I had other matches, but there was something about him.  We started communicating in late April of 2006, and scheduled to meet on May 2, 2006 at a local restaurant.  We closed down the restaurant.  We were the only ones left as the staff cleaned off tables and placed the chairs on the table tops.  I invited him to a party that next weekend, and we have been together ever since.  It is truly amazing how eHarmony works.  I have met other couples that are happily married, and starting families.  I am glad that I listened to my mother...even if it took me a while!
