A few years ago, my single best friend and I were both having trouble meeting people and decided to try eHarmony together.  Neither of us was expecting to find the love of our life, but we were hoping to make some new friends. 

Unbeknownst to me, my friend signed up without telling me.  I was hesitant to sign up despite her success.  It wasn’t until she met her husband on eHarmony and I was a bridesmaid in her wedding that I decided to give it a try.

I gave eHarmony a good go for about a year, went on several dates, and met some interesting people, but nobody I would call my “soul mate”.  I decided to take a break for a little while.  When I went back to eHarmony, I had greater success than I ever imagined.

As all of this was going on, my future husband, Andy, with some goading from his friends, decided to sign up for eHarmony.  I was the very first match on his list!

After all of the formalities had passed, we decided to go out on a date.  I knew the moment I saw him that I was going to marry him.  Andy says it was, “love at first type.”
