We're just such fans of eHarmony. We were married on May 3rd. We still talk about how amazing it is that we found each other. eHarmony got a plug during our ceremony - our rabbi was talking about how incredible it is that with such seemingly different backgrounds, the universe still brought us together. When he asked what force could have possibly brought two people together, my sister and maid of honor said "eHarmony" under her breath...which of course the rabbi heard and repeated, resulting in giggling guests. It was the perfect ceremony and reception - we got married on a yacht in Galveston Bay in Texas. I walked down the aisle to the eHarmony song. The whole ceremony was the perfect combination of serious and fun, and the reception on the water was amazing. Not to mention a wonderful honeymoon in Jamaica.

Most certainly you've heard many similar stories, yet we feel compelled to continue to talk about how remarkable it is that we found each other. We've talked about eHarmony on a regular basis, and know that we never would have met if we hadn't met through eHarmony. We could have easily been in the same bar or hardware store or gas station at the same time and would never have approached one another. eHarmony is such a great way to safely get out of your element and meet people that you would never encounter in daily life. So many of us limit ourselves to the people we meet at work, school, and the occasional night out, which results in endless frustration when we meet the same people over and over. There's a whole world of people that we don't see that way!

The key for us has been complete honesty - meeting through eHarmony allowed us to be up front regarding our needs and beliefs and to immediately determine if we had chemistry. We both value the kind of relationship we have, which has motivated us to drive our friends crazy trying to help them find the same kind of peace. What an incredible journey it's been.
