Vin and I were matched in July 2004. I was recently divorced, and not sure that I ever wanted to marry again. Our first date was July 31, 2004 (the night of a rare Blue Moon), and it was like nothing I'd ever experienced before. The sparks were electric; we just fit together so naturally and although it was our first meeting, it felt like we were old friends. There was a strange sense of familiarity and comfort. I think my heart knew that it had come home, although it took my head some time to catch up.

Vin proposed when we were on vacation in Florence, Italy, at sunset on May 26, 2006, on the Ponte Vecchio. We were married October 13, 2007 in Kauai, Hawaii, in a small and intimate ceremony that included our family and close friends. I feel so lucky to have found Vin, and so happy to have him as my partner on this incredible journey that is life.

We love telling people the story of how we met.  Had it not been for eHarmony, it seems unlikely Vin and I would have met, since we lived in different cities more than thirty miles apart.  We are both so grateful to eHarmony for bringing us together!
