I initially joined eHarmony because my friend Lisa met a wonderful guy through eHarmony. Lisa did my make up for the wedding and called me on Saturday to tell me that Brian proposed on Friday night so this is really a story of 2 successes! Jeff and I were matched in April about 2 weeks after I joined. I had emailed a few other matches but no one really stood out. Jeff and I began emailing and after about a week we had our first phone call which lasted for 4 hours. We met for dinner the next night and sat at the table for another 4 hours talking. By our second date, it was obvious to everyone that we were a couple. My friends were amazed that I could spend so much time with someone and not get burnt out or bored but our relationship was so easy that it seemed natural to always be together. I have never been one to rush into anything serious or to believe that any relationship was possible without a LOT of hard work. After 2 months I knew that this was something special because it was so easy and natural to be together, and after another few months I knew I wanted to marry him.

On October 6th we had dinner at the restaurant where we had our first date. Afterwards he took me to the spot where I have always wanted to get married and proposed. In September I had the wedding I always dreamed of to a man I could not ever have imagined could be real. Thank you for introducing me to the most generous and wonderful person I have ever known. Now we are enjoying our life together and looking forward to Lisa and Brian’s wedding in October.
