My friend was using eHarmony and really liked the entire process over the other sites (which I later found out was very thorough and private), and told me to at least get a profile started to get myself out there. John and I were matched on September 9, 2005. We met on October 15th for dinner and a movie, and saw each other every weekend since then. The proposal was caught on camera at a park when we were trying to get pictures taken for our families. I set up the timer on the tripod and he dropped to one knee with a beautiful ring as the camera snapped, capturing our special moment that I will never forget. We owe it to eHarmony and my friend, who will be marrying her eHarmony match next spring.
