As two young Latino professionals, it was difficult to meet someone at church, family gatherings, etc. To that end eHarmony seemed like the best combination of innovated thinking with our traditional values. Our meeting and relationship has dispelled our families' initial skepticism regarding eHarmony. The rest goes a little something like this...

I had been on eHarmony for a total of 9 months and my subscription was to end 12 days prior to meeting Lorenzo. Lorenzo on the other hand was lucky enough to meet me during his first week of being on eHarmony. It was love at first e-mail! After getting to know each other via computer, we had our first phone conversation. Lorenzo was confident and super smart and I was sarcastic and witty, which made for a lengthy first conversation. We decided to meet for our first date. Thanks to a parking mistake, Lorenzo walked 26 blocks to meet the love of his life and I parked right across the street from the restaurant to avoid walking at all costs to meet the man of my dreams. Needless to say it was a great date and we decided to meet for a second date. For the second date, we went to Universal City Walk and the stars were aligned and cupid struck...we kissed for the first time. As the song will tell you, "If you want to know if he love's you so, it's in his kiss." We both knew we would spend the rest of our lives together.

On December 7, 2006, Lorenzo proposed. We're getting married on September 29, 2007!
