I started out on eHarmony somewhat as a joke. My mom and sisters where constantly telling me they met someone for me, waiters at restaurants they ate at and silly stuff like that. My mom and I were sitting on the couch Labor Day weekend of 2007 when an eHarmony commercial came on. "Try it now for free." I told my mom I was going to do it as payback for all her and my sisters shenanigans.

As I started answering the questions, filling out my profile I realized that this website is really thorough and there could be something to this. I went through the entire process and was matched up with David. We hit it off right away. We talked on the phone for two weeks before we met. We had our first date at Dukes on the pier in Huntington Beach California. Our conversation was dynamically different because of the level you are at after going through eHarmony. I felt like I already knew so much about him, yet there was still more to know. We dated for a little less than two years when David took me back to the place of our first date and then to the beach where he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
