Richard and I were matched at the end of July 2008.  We communicated with one another throughout August and September on the phone.  We spent hours talking with one another and it was nice being able to talk to someone, be myself and laugh again.  In fact, sometimes we would talk several times throughout the day just because.  We decided to meet (finally) on September 25, 2008.  When we met, it was an instant connection. His beautiful eyes and gorgeous smile equally complemented his fantastic personality.  We are both very energetic and goofy - in fact, our friends love the fact that we are both spontaneous about life. 

Over the next few weeks, we spent quite a bit of time together - Richard is a chef and he began to spoil me by making me fabulous dinners and teaching me how to cook (boiling water was my specialty).  As the two of us spent time together in the kitchen, cooking delicious dinners, we began to get to know one another more and more.  Sometimes we would talk and laugh while other times we would put on some music, cook, dance around to our favorite songs (compatible music taste) and laugh even more.  After two weeks of seeing one another, we knew this was heading towards something serious. We both enjoy the outdoors - hiking, running, camping and more recently skiing (Richard snowboards) and it is refreshing to know there is someone out there who shares the same interests as me! Our close friends and family members knew we had found someone special because they could see how happy we were and could not wait to meet each of us.

When Richard is around me, I feel like I am on top of the world.  He always tells me he loves me, wakes me up with a "good morning beautiful" and is the most sincere person I have ever met.  I can't help but smile from ear to ear knowing that I have found someone who enjoys life as much as I do.  I have never been so excited to come home to be with the person I love and the person I am going to spend the rest of my life with.
