Brian and I were matched in April 2005.  We corresponded for about a month and then decided to meet.  We lived about 2 hours away and he offered to drive up to meet me.  I knew he had to be pretty special if he wanted to do that.  We went out to dinner and a movie and hit it off just like that.  It was so amazing to meet him and he was exactly like what his profile stated.  We had so much in common and we were matched perfectly. 

The next two years were spent with us seeing each other every weekend and spending every night we weren't together talking online.  In 2007 we decided to take our first official vacation together. It was my first time out of the country and we went to St. Thomas.  I never expected him to ask me to marry him but it happened!  He went down on one knee on the historic 900 stairs in St. Thomas.  It was such a perfect moment.  The same day he asked me to marry him we started planning the wedding.  We thought a destination wedding would be cool.  But after thinking about for a few months we finally just decided to get married in my hometown so that all of our family could be there. 

September 13, 2008 was our wedding day.  It was also the second day of a three day rainstorm that damaged many homes and businesses in the Midwest.  Luckily everyone made it home safe.  Our honeymoon was a 7 day cruise in the Caribbean.  It was absolutely fantastic.  I am going to be eternally grateful to eHarmony for matching me with the man that is perfect for me.  Thank you!
