I joined eHarmony in September 2007.  I had no expectations of meeting someone; I just thought that it would be worth a chance.  At the time, my daughter had just turned one year old and I figured that your website offered a great chance at meeting a quality partner.

Matt was the first (and only) person that I communicated with!  I felt a special connection with him when I read his profile and saw his picture- I know that it sounds crazy, but it's true.  Matt had been on eHarmony for awhile, and was going to give up after his subscription was over.

After we went on our first date we were pretty much inseparable.  I clicked with him on a level that I had never experienced before.  I really didn't realize that I could be as compatible with anyone as I was with him. 

On our one-year anniversary we were able to get away to a small cottage for the weekend, where he proposed, and I happily said yes.  Our lives have been so blessed this last year, and I really cannot thank eHarmony enough for matching us up.
