I met the love of my life on eHarmony. After having my heartbroken (again) from a match on another dating service, a dear friend encouraged me to give eHarmony another try. She also met someone she has been dating for 2 years on this service. So, I guess I saw her as credible. Kevin was one of the first men I spoke with and ultimately met. The connection was instant for both of us. We both were so astonished as to the similarities of our profiles and answers to various questions. Our first date lasted 10 hours. We saw each other every weekend and then by Christmas it was nearly every day. When I met Kevin I was in the process of adopting a little boy from Russia. Kevin and I both wanted kids so he was very accepting of my prior decision. He has a daughter from a former relationship as well. We always have fun together no matter what we are doing. While Kevin is very intelligent he is also a big "goofball." So he really makes me laugh. To jump ahead to where we are today, my 2 yr old son, Collin, is now home and calls Kevin daddy. The biggest difference in this relationship from ALL my other relationships is that this one has been easy. It has had little to no "drama." Over the years friends have told me that when I meet the right one it would be this way. So, instead of going with that I spent years chasing the wrong men and getting my heart broken. I have recommended eHarmony to several other single friends. I hope they are as lucky as I have been. I have a beautiful son and a loving partner...in other words I have my very own family.
