It was a very late night when I decided to finally take my sister's advice and join eHarmony.  A marriage of 17 years had ended about 15 months prior and the thought of dating was very scary.  eHarmony made it very easy for me to feel comfortable getting back out into the dating scene.  I had been on eHarmony for a little over a year when I was introduced to Craig. 

Craig's youngest son encouraged him to join eHarmony.  He had a 6-hour commute each day and his youngest was entering his Senior year of high school.  The boys didn't want to see their dad alone. 

Craig and I immediately hit it off in the guided communication.  During open communication Craig was overseas on business.  We shared great emails that would have been very lengthy phone conversations had he been closer to home.  We had very similar backgrounds and interests. 

Our first date...Friday, April 13, 2007!  It was fate!  Neither of us ever looked back.  We continued dating from that point on and have brought together two very loving families.

Our families joke that we are perfect for each other.  We are both intellectual and sometimes have trouble "letting our hair down."  Craig and I play Scrabble until all hours of the night and will be using this as one of the themes in our wedding.  We challenge each other to try new things and seize each opportunity that comes our way.

We both agree that we never knew how fulfilling a healthy loving relationship could be to your soul.  We thank you eHarmony for bringing two lost individuals together.  We look forward to our future together as husband and wife and parents to four great boys.  eHarmony helped me fulfill my desires of a second chance at love.
