We both joined eHarmony at the urging (nagging) of our friends. Neither were looking for or anticipated anything more than maybe meeting someone to date. Both of us were set for many years, or possibly the rest of our life, being single parents.

We met and found that we share all the same hopes and convictions about marriage, family and faith. We are joining our families together of four biological children, and two adopted Guatemalan orphans.

We could not be happier, and anticipate a life long committed marriage of love, family and joy. And there are six children who will have a happy, healthy, whole family to grow up in.

We were almost embarrassed at joining a "dating" website, but found eHarmony to actually be very serious in their approach for matching people who are compatible. We have our friends and eHarmony to thank bringing us together when it would have been virtually impossible for us to cross paths otherwise.
