Herm and I enjoy sharing our story of having met over eHarmony!  At first, he and I sensed some skepticism from those who probably were thinking we didn't have a strong foundation for a lasting and meaningful relationship since we met over the internet.  Our connection was and is strong and compatible. Herm told me that we felt so right together that he didn't want to waste any more time thinking about it, and proposed New Years Eve in downtown Ft. Worth so that we could start planning our future together. 

On all of the most important levels, we "click" -- emotionally, spiritually, financially, humor-wise, family-wise and hobby-wise, we fully understand where the other is coming from.  At one point while we were still in our dating stage, I remember telling Herm that I know we will always remain very close friends because of the deep connection we have between us. 

The other dating sites do not even hold a candle to eHarmony... they are all about looks and Saturday night dates.  eHarmony focuses on what makes up a person and takes them through a controlled set of Q&As with a match they found.  I never felt pressured or insecure or even wary of anybody I communicated with while I was enrolled with eHarmony.  Herm and I took our time to go carefully through all the steps.  We didn't even press one another for a photo until we felt that we were ready to exchange phone numbers!  Our phone calls and emails finally became so lengthy that we mutually decided to set up our first date, which brings us to where we are today!!
