Rob and Sheri met on eHarmony in January 2009. Rob was attracted to Sheri’s fun-loving nature and adventurous spirit.  Sheri was attracted to his sense of humor and ability to be a good friend and companion.  She believes that the things that attracted them to each other on their profiles still help keep their bond tight to this day.

Rob and Sheri went on their first date dinner at an Italian restaurant and a round of bowling – toward the end of January.  From then on, they were inseparable, travelling all over the country and hitting the hiking trails together as often as they can.

On a snowy Christmas Day in 2009, Rob and Sheri took a break from the holiday festivities at her father’s house to catch some fresh air outside. As they cuddled in each other’s arms on a deck overlooking a serene snow-covered pond, Rob found his opportunity.  He pulled out a small black box containing an engagement ring and asked Sheri to be his wife. Surprised and excited, she happily accepted his proposal.
