My soul mate and I were first matched on eHarmony, on October 1, 2004.  We went through the progression of questions and answers and finally began emailing directly.  We decided to meet on October 23, 2004.  Our first "date" was only for dinner, however it was very comfortable for both of us and we knew immediately that we wanted to continue seeing each other. 

On our profiles was our love of travel and we did make several trips together, in the next eight months.  It was on a trip to Victoria, British Columbia, (July 16th, 2005) that I asked Gayla to marry me. She accepted, but we didn't actually get married until April 26th, 2008.  Let me tell you that we both enjoy every day of married life together and we make sure that we let the other person know how we feel each day.
