I had decided when it was time to renew my membership that I would discontinue for a few months.  I got on the computer to do this and the doorbell rang.  I had a meeting to go to soon after so I turned off the computer to answer the door and didn't get back until the next day.

I opened up the eHarmony pages and there was a new match.  I thought I would not open it and then decided I would since it was still on the last membership and of course it was paid for.  And, there was this man named John from Lebanon, Ohio.  His picture looked good and his profile really got my attention. 

I answered John immediately and he answered right back. We e-mailed for a few weeks and decided to meet.  Our first meeting was very pleasant and he came with a couple of dozen oatmeal-raisin-pecan cookies that he had baked himself. 

By the way, he is 77 and I am 73.  And, although we live 90 miles apart, we are together at least every weekend and often during the week.  Our families and friends are so happy for us. Thank you eHarmony, I couldn't have found a better match myself.
