I thought Diamond Bar was too far away and he thought that a retired police officer would be a muscular masculine type of woman. His former wife's name was Barbara and that was a barrier. Reluctantly I sent three questions and instead of answering them he messaged me saying he thought we should move on to a higher level, gave me his phone numbers and said he would await my call. I called him and we talked for two hours and then made plans to meet for coffee. He called me with a location the next day and I drove there to "case the joint". It seemed harmless and so I went there at three o'clock on Friday to meet him. He said when I walked in the door he said to himself "That's my woman".  As he came across the room, smiling and holding out his hands, I said to myself “Wow! This is one good looking man".  We talked for two hours, went to dinner, and decided to try to develop the relationship.

We were married at a church in Long Beach which was built in 1914 and is a designated historical site.  My beautiful granddaughters attended me and his two sons attended him. There were over 300 guests and a beautiful dinner dance at the Grand Event center. My granddaughter designed and did extraordinary invitations, his grandson and my great grandson are twin ring bearers and his granddaughter and my great granddaughter are twin flower girls.
