Ramon and I were matched on May 30, 2008, a little more than 24 hours before my subscription with eHarmony was going to end.  I'd given dating a try after a long hiatus, and although I met some nice men on eHarmony, they weren't "the one".  I had just turned 50 on May 16th, and decided to cancel with eHarmony, take a "break" for awhile. The morning of 5/30/08, I decided to check my account before I left for work, which I NEVER did, and I saw his picture.  My immediate thought was "what a great smile!", he just looked like a really nice man.  I responded to his questions, and we met 2 weeks later on June 16......and have been together ever since.
