I am so excited and happy that I have found the love of my life!  I had been on eHarmony for 4 years.  I had just about given up and I went off eHarmony for a while.  Then last January I decided to give it another shot.  I called up to renew my subscription.  About a half hour later, I went back on the site and I was sent a match. Her name was Stephanie.   I read her profile and was very excited so I responded back to her and within days we were at the open communication stage.  At each stage, I got more excited; but was still a little hesitant.  The more I read her responses to my questions it was like she was reading my mind! Within 2 days, we exchanged phone numbers.  I was never so excited to talk to someone as I was her! 

Our first conversation was over 4 hours long!  We both did not want to get off the phone!  A week later we made a date to meet.  We met at a place called the Melting Pot and we were so excited to be with each other that the manager gently asked us for our table and offered to buy us a drink.  We did not realize that we had been there for 5 hours.  We were not ready for the date to end.  We went to another place and we closed that down as well!!  The whole first date lasted over 8 hours.  Then we spent another hour on the phone when we got to our houses! 

Ten months later, I took her on a carriage ride in Central Park (NYC). At the end of the ride, I got down on one knee and asked her to marry me.  As tears filled her eyes she said...yes!  Then we walked 6 blocks to the Plaza Hotel where I had her closest friends waiting there for us.  She let out a scream of excitement so loud that hotel security came out!

I just want to thank you eHarmony for matching me up with Stephanie!!!  It took 41 years to find the love of my life; but it was worth it!!
