One of my lifelong girlfriends re-introduced me to eHarmony! Hearing her talk about it got me intrigued... I was having really no luck, or just absolutely very bad luck in the online dating world! I was not meeting anyone who wanted a real relationship with me. I had dated fairly consistently for the past 2 years or so, off and on, since the break up of my marriage...meeting one guy after another through different sites. I'd even tried eHarmony in the past, but I think I gave up on it too soon.

Time and time again, I thought I'd found a guy who was maybe a good person, an honest, fun-loving, decent man, who then turned into someone else, literally before my eyes! Quite often, I was left feeling disappointed, rejected, and down, over and over again. When I signed up for eHarmony again, I felt ready to start looking again! I felt, through my friend Kellie, a renewed sense of hope, peace, and the willingness to try...yet again, to meet the man of my dreams.

Well, I remember seeing John's profile as it came into my inbox, saying I had a match. So, I read his profile and thought, "Wow, he sounds really wonderful!" Something about his profile made me feel at ease and very comfortable. Well, once we got to the "Open Communication" part of our eHarmony experience, we began writing to each other and then speaking on the phone. Even over the phone, John's bright and shiny soul and personality beams through! He is always looking for the positive side to life, and that is me, too! We met for our first date at a local restaurant in the area. I remember thinking to myself as I shook his hand and greeted him hello how much I liked his smile, his presence, and his voice! Not to mention his kind and courteous personality! Not long into our conversation, I knew I wanted to see this man again! I felt the attraction and sparks flying above and around me!

So, I thought to myself, well... I will call him the next day, just to thank him for our first date/dinner. He said he would call me later that day. I had a brief thought of, "Oh, I wonder if he really will call me?" Quickly, I found that he did keep to his word!

One night, John said, "You know, I really love you." I told him that I loved him, too! I've never had someone who appreciates me so much for who I am. Thank you!
