A notice to all skeptics: I was the guy who loved being single. I did not believe in "fate". I did not believe in the idea of a "soul mate". Needless to say, my expectations of eHarmony were a little low. Then Renee's profile popped up on my screen, right when I was about to give up on “online dating”. At the very moment I decided to settle on the past, the most perfect woman on this planet was requesting information from me. Every stage of communication came so easy for us. We spent hours on the internet… days on the phone. And then came our first date. I knew that she was incredibly beautiful based on her posted photo. When she stepped out of her car, however, I lost my breath. For whatever reason, I couldn’t even maintain eye contact with her. I blew it. The worst first date ever. What saved me was the fact that we already knew each other so well before we met. It was the time that we spent through our guided and open communication that gave me a second chance. Soon, I will be this amazing woman’s husband. Renee is definitely my soul mate, and I feel it was fate that brought us together. I can't imagine life without her. Thanks eHarmony.
