Kimberly and Jeff
Jeff and I were first paired by eHarmony in December 2005. During our early structured communication, both of our subscriptions expired. I had been on and off for a year and a half, and Jeff had done the two week free trial. Both of us considered not signing back up, but one of my friends reminded me that you never know what treasures lay around the next corner - and boy was she right! Jeff later told me he considered whether or not he wanted to spend the $58 to continue communicating to a nearly anonymous person as we hadn’t progressed past the generic question phase. But he told me, “There was something about your answers that prompted him to go ahead and pay beyond the initial free period.” He frequently refers to that as the best $58 he's ever spent. Thank goodness we both renewed our subscriptions.
We were married on September 27th, 2008. I remember instantly feeling so comfortable with him, and our first date lasted for 9 hours! He is my perfect match - and our relationship has been wonderful since the very beginning. In our 2 and 1/2 years together, we have been through a lot. I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, something that could put a strain on most new relationships, particularly blended families. For us, it was the opposite. Jeff was me and my daughter's rock during that time. I had to go through surgery and radiation, and it was through that our love for each other strengthened and grew into eternity, and we both knew we found our life's love. We both want to thank you eHarmony, for helping us find each other and helping us find how wonderful life can be, when you get to share it with the love of your life.
