My best friend had convinced me to sign up for eHarmony and both of Mark's siblings met their spouses on eHarmony, so we decided to give it a try. I was about to give up, on online dating, but fortunately Mark saw my profile. He didn’t think he stood a chance so he only "winked" at me. He seemed cute and I liked his profile; so I decided to give him a shot.

We talked online for a few weeks, but I let my subscription lapse and hadn't given him my phone number.  Luckily for both of us, he remembered my personal e-mail. If he hadn't, we might never have met. We went on our first date and I began to have faith in online dating. It didn’t take long for us to realize we had found something special.

We got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2010 after he proposed on a mountaintop. We have no doubts that we both meet “The One” and are looking forward to spending the rest of our lives together.  We never thought we’d meet somebody online that was so compatible, and we are so grateful that we were able to find each other.
