November 30th 2006 will be a day that I’ll never forget for the rest of my life. It was on that day that I was sent an email by eHarmony matching me with the love of my life…Jen from Oakdale, MN. Up until that point, my love life had been anything but successful, hence the reason that I had decided to give online dating a whirl! I must admit that I was extremely skeptical, but after many months of trying things my way in the typical dating scene and getting no where…what did I have to lose?

Surprisingly enough, Jen from Oakdale was in much the same dating predicament that I was. After I decided to initiate communication, we began communicating back and forth and things took off like the space shuttle. Many emails and even more phone calls were sent back and forth between this woman and I and in late February of 2007 I decided to purchase a ticket to fly up and meet Jen. It wasn’t until April 12th of 2007 that I would be able to meet Jen for the first time…but it would be worth the wait! Words cant really express that meeting adequately enough for me but over that weekend in April, and more specifically on Sunday the 15th, I fell in love with Jennifer from Oakdale!

We had been dating for over a year and 2 months, and on Friday June 20th 2008 I asked Jennifer to be my wife. She truly is a blessing from above and is more of a woman than I could ever ask for. She is my encouragement when I am down and my confidant when I need a shoulder to cry on. She is my sunshine in the morning when I call her on the phone and she is my last thought when I lay my head to sleep at night.
