I received a message from Chaz two days after I signed up on eHarmony.  He lived in New Orleans and I lived in NC.  I was a little hesitant to have a long distance relationship with someone but I decided to take a step of faith and respond to his message.  We started talking on the phone and from the first conversation I was so amazed at how much he seemed like the guy I have dreamed about marrying. 

He flew out to meet me a couple of weeks after we started talking and I knew that he was the one for me.  We continued our long distance relationship seeing each other every two to three weeks and talking on the phone for hours each night.  It was one of the most exciting times in my life.  He proposed to me five months later up on a mountain top.  Even though we talked about marriage, it totally surprised me and it is a day I will never forget. We have recently moved to Houston where he has begun his first full-time pastoral job since leaving seminary school in New Orleans. 

The reason I even signed up for eHarmony was because one of my best friends from high school was dating someone she met on eHarmony.  She pushed me to give it a try.  She was right.  And actually, her wedding is next week with the man she met on eHarmony. Awesome!
