What is strange is that we not only have many things in common, but also our life stories were so similar and even knew some of the same people. In our first essay questions to each other Jeff and I discovered that we attended the same church, and had attended the same church for about 2 years and had never met!... I cannot thank you enough. We discovered I was working right around the corner from where he lived so we were able to spend a lot of quality time talking and getting to know each other. In discussions we learned that at several times over the years we worked within a few blocks of each other, but for whatever reason it wasn't until 2006 that we were meant to meet.

My wife and I had been at the same concert and play a couple of times. We even bank at the same bank. Our chiropractors are in the same practice, yet it took eHarmony to get us together. She even worked with my younger brother for a few years as his supervisor but, we didn't connect until you. I have to say I never thought I would ever meet someone that fits me like my wife does and she agrees.

We went to High School together (I didn't know it). He had worked with my father occasionally (didn't know that either). He had classes with my brother (another surprise)... We were so close (2 miles literally) but just needed a little help getting together.

It was uncanny how much we had in common and how our lives had paralleled each other in many ways. He is a long-haul truck driver and had been in my city many times. He had shopped at the very grocery store that I frequent and had been in town only 2 weeks before we met. Unbelievable that our paths could have crossed so many times before and yet it took eHarmony to bring us together.

On their first date they were talking about the various places they've lived in Seattle and realized that both of them lived in the same six-unit apartment building! Matt moved out of unit 3A the same month that Shannon moved in to unit 2B, which was May of 2000. They don't remember ever meeting, but it's possible, even likely, they passed their future spouse in the hallway and never knew it.
