Gregg and I were first matched in June 2005. We communicated a little bit but I was interested in someone else I'd met on eHarmony and closed out communication with Gregg. In February 2006, nothing had happened with my other match, so I decided to look through all of my 'closed' matches one night to see if there was anyone I wanted to re-open communication with. I saw Gregg's 'final request' email, he asked to meet for coffee, and I thought "why not?" I emailed him that night, my subscription was going to end in 3 wks and I had already decided I was going to take a break from my membership. I told him I didn't know if he was still active or not, but gave him my personal email since my membership would be over in 3 wks. That was Tuesday night. He wrote back Wednesday, he called that night and we talked for quite a while. We wrote for the next 2 days, decided to meet Friday Feb 10th, 2006, and haven't been apart since! 

What is ironic is that Gregg's membership was ending THAT Saturday (Feb 11th) and he was also going to take a break for a little while and not renew his subscription! We discovered I was working right around the corner from where he lived so we were able to spend a lot of quality time talking and getting to know each other.  In discussions we learned that at several times over the years we worked within a few blocks of each other, but for whatever reason it wasn't until 2006 that we were meant to meet. We were married in May 2007 and have told everyone we know how thankful we are for eHarmony! People enjoy hearing our story of how we met and how perfect we are for each other.  We could never have picked a more perfect match!
