Mike and I met on eHarmony in the fall of 2005.  We made arrangements to meet at O’ Charlie’s for our first date on November 5, 2005.   We picked O’ Charlie’s because it was a good half-way point for both of us.  Our apartments were only 5 minutes from each other.  Another thing we learned was that we rented movies from the same place and used the same grocery store.  We went to the same college but I started a year after he had left.  We were in the same area but never connected until eHarmony matched us up.

When I got at the restaurant, he was already there so I got to look at him first.  I got a little nervous cause he was really good looking and thought, I’m probably not his type, but I went in anyway.  I remember him trying SO hard to make me laugh, which I did a lot.  He was funny and smart and we got along great.  I remember not wanting the date to end, but it did with a hug and plans to hang out the next night. 

Through the months the relationship progressed we learned more about each other and found out that we had more in common.   We had the same goals in life and wanted the same things for the future.   We both had the same up bringing and had the same morals and out look on life.  We got along great and our family and friends agreed that this was a great match. 

We got engaged a week after Valentines Day 2006.  It was so sweet and he had my 6 year old daughter there watching the proposal too.  It was so cute, she was almost coaching him. 

We were married just 2 days shy of our 2 year anniversary of our first date.  We went to Las Vegas for our honeymoon for a week and had a BLAST!!!
