So Close Yet So Far

By the time we met for our first date, I already felt like we had known each other for a while and therefore wasn't nervous - just excited to finally meet this incredible man. Included in our wedding, in addition to the things that we love about each other, was the idea that our first date was not only the best first date, but our last first date. I really feel that I have met the love of my life and begin each day feeling so grateful and lucky to have him in my life. While at times it is kind of annoying that he knows what I'm feeling before I've even said anything, it is amazing that he is so in tune with how I'm feeling that we can skip any misunderstandings and go straight into our supporting of each other. I am (or was!) a divorced elementary school teacher. I was finding that I never met any young single men my age and so with some hesitation I turned to eHarmony. I used to think that I would end up old and single and without ever having the joy of experiencing what true love was like. Shortly after signing up with eHarmony, I met the love of my life and it was magic from the very start. What is strange is that we not only have many things in common, but also our life stories were so similar and even knew some of the same people. It was almost like we were so close to meeting each other on our own, but we needed eHarmony to do it for us.
