I joined eHarmony at the request of my mom. I met my, now, husband the next DAY. I've always been INCREDIBLY "picky" about what I wanted in a husband. Much to my surprise, I found that he had every quality I'd wanted, but never really expected to find in one man. We married Dec. 17, 2005. We celebrated our first anniversary the following year and found out at the same time that we were expecting our first child. Sophia Ryanne was born Aug. 16, 2007.

The first 2+ yrs have been wonderful and we couldn't be happier! The eHarmony information is still SO valuable in helping to understand where the other person is coming from. We tell people that with eHarmony we were able to kind of go backwards in the relationship process. The first couple of weeks were more of a deep interview process of each other, learning about our values, desires, goals, the way we think and respond to things, etc.

I'm thankful for my mom and eHarmony for helping us find each other!
