We met on February 21st, 2003 via email and decided to converse on the phone on March 3rd then decided that we must meet...so, Stephen flew all the way from Portland, OR to Detroit, MI to meet me AND my family on April 17th! Our first date was with my father and step-mother the following evening!! Stephen had asked my dad if he could have my hand in marriage by the end of his trip! He said "yes" and it was my turn to meet Stephen's family! So, I flew out to Portland in May and by the end of my trip he had proposed!! After I flew home we both worked all summer to pay for our wedding on August 22nd, 2003! And you wouldn't believe what happened...the day he flew in (a week before we were to be married) was the day that the entire east coast lost ALL power!! So after not seeing each other all summer we were postponed once again from his flight taking a detour to WI for the night/day! He did make it finally, and we did get married!!   

We just recently celebrated our three year wedding anniversary and now live back in Michigan with our two precious children, Caeden who is now 20 months and Carley Evelyn Grace, who is six and a half months!   

It has been one amazing and incredible journey and we are so thankful for you eHarmony for being our catalyst to our destiny!!!!!
