Corinne and Harold
After trying other internet dating sites I was almost ready to give up on finding someone to share my life with. I had looked at eHarmony several times and even answered the questions a couple of times. Somehow this year near my 41st birthday I decided to log on, answer the questions and sign up for a 3 month membership. I wondered if eHarmony was a hoax and if these success stories were real. I am glad I finally gave eHarmony a chance!
Harold and I were matched and we started communicating. What attracted me to Harold was his profile. He enjoyed camping as I do, was family oriented, funny and lastly.....he expressed the desire to share his life with the right person. Things just really seemed to click with Harold. We emailed every day except for long weekends when we both were away visiting family. After about 3 weeks we started phone conversations, yet have still emailed each other every day as Harold tells me, "It's tradition!”
Harold and I finally met for the first time. He is from Calgary and I am in Winnipeg. He came to Winnipeg to meet me. We both expressed excitement and also a little nervous in meeting each other. There were so many things I liked about Harold, yet I wasn't sure if there would be chemistry as sometimes one won't know for sure until you both meet. We went to the art gallery in the afternoon, then out for dinner and a comedy club for the evening. The second day we went for a hike and picnic in a provincial park and to the drive-in theatre for the evening. It was the best date I have ever had! I am happy to announce there was electricity when we kissed!
Nothing compares to eHarmony as far as I have experienced! He is everything I have dreamt of and more. He has never missed a night of sending me an email wishing me sweet dreams goodnight! He says, “It's tradition!” I love that about him! I can only hope to give him as much happiness and love as he gives me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart of helping to make my childhood dream come true.......to find someone that loves me as much as I love him.
