This is how it happened... Michael was very close to giving up on internet dating and I was just beginning to enter the world of online dating. The computer matched us in August. After that, we both spent almost a month writing the longest emails of our lives about almost everything! We finally met in person for lunch at a local pub. Within a short period of time, we knew we had found someone really special. The time absolutely flew by, starting out with one weekend date, and then two dates, and then three evenings a week together. In February, Michael asked me to marry him. I was shocked, and when we started calling family members, his family didn't believe he had asked me.

Since then, we have been happily planning our wedding for August 7, 2010, and enjoying every moment of being engaged, even though we have been living in separate cities (Ottawa and Guelph) since April 2009. We have each found our best friend.
