Robert and I had only been on eHarmony for a short period of time, I believe it was 14 days for me and 2 days for Robert.  Neither of us were really internet dating people but a friend persuaded me it was worth trying and Robert's sister basically nagged him until he agreed!

The most important attraction for us was our values and what we really appreciated about eHarmony was that it encouraged us to ask questions, lots of questions and there was no limit to the topics.  This process of communication has remained a strong part of our relationship.  Communication is very important to us and asking so many questions at the beginning of our relationship has made it easier to continue doing so and we both believe this is important to enable and grow a healthy relationship. 
Robert and I are very different people but we have the same values and the same life goals and we complement each other in many ways.

We were engaged 6 months after first meeting on eHarmony and married 19 months to the day we first met.  Our marriage was a small and romantic celebration on the island of Grand Cayman, with just the two of us and the hotel provided witnesses.  It was the most perfect day for us; it was everything we hoped for and then some. 

Robert and I are each other's best friend and complete soul mates.  The chances of us meeting without the help of eHarmony were really very slim and we show gratitude every day for the good fortune that came our way.
