Bill and I met on line through eHarmony three years ago. We are so thankful and happy that we gave eHarmony a chance to find the right person for us! Bill had been widowed after a 35 year marriage and had no clue how to go about meeting or dating someone new. I had been through an emotionally painful divorce and wasn’t even sure I wanted to meet or date someone new.

I signed on with eHarmony first and while I met many very nice men, nothing seemed to click for me. Bill joined, was matched with me and we both felt so very comfortable at our first meeting, that we stopped our search online and dated exclusively even though we lived about an hours drive from each other. Last October (2007), I had the opportunity to retire and in December, Bill retired from his job. While our initial intention, when we joined eHarmony, was to meet someone we could share our time and interests with, we found that we had fallen in love and didn’t want to be apart.

We were married in a small ceremony with our closest family and friends present. Bill and I both agree that we are extremely lucky to have found each other and we thank eHarmony for that. We were living in different parts of the state and none of our social circles overlapped so that without help, we don’t think we would have had the opportunity.
