Jerry had been on eHarmony for several months. I had been on for about 2 weeks when we started communicating. We both lost our spouses to cancer within a month of each other and because we had such wonderful marriages decided to join eHarmony as a safe place to meet others. My marriage was 20 years and my husband died 1 week after our 20th anniversary. Jerry was married 41 years and his wife died 1 week after that anniversary.

We met, fell instantly in love, and were married.

We understand where each other is coming from and know that our deceased spouses were a big part of our lives which we continue to honor and appreciate in each other.
