More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

Family and friends, travel, ideas, interesting conversations. Being with people I care about and they care about me.

I typically spend my leisure time

Socializing with friends, reading, being active. Like to walk and talk. Go to the YMCA., travel, visit family and friends, spend time with grandkids, go to parties and host parties, involved in a wine and book club. Like to stay busy doing things I enjoy. Have been a hospice volunteer...looking for a volunteer opportunity.

The most influential person in my life has been

An interesting nice person to spend good quality time with...have fun, share ideas, go out to dinner. I enjoy male companionship and perspective. Ready for more if it should develop.

The first thing people notice about me

Friendly, interested in others. My friend said to say I have blond hair and blue eyes. My daughter said I dress nice. Been told I have a nice smile and warm presence. I am a serious person but I like to have fun.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm in a book club and enjoy a variety of books. Favorites include Hundred Days of Solitude and Agony and Ecstasy. I read both of these books on the beach while in Mazatlan...could have had an influence on why they are favorites! (Two different years...they are fat books.) Both books give a broad societal perspective as well as speak to individual struggle.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Family and friends
  2. Financial and emotional stability
  3. Good health

Friends Describe me as

Caring, Good listener, Optimistic, Rational

A little more about me

I find this whole process awkward but interested to see how it works. I think I am much better in person than how I present myself here.
