More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

There are so many things I love! Time spent with my family, world travel, being outdoors, and eating delicious food rise to the top of my list. And dogs - both my own and everyone else's. I stop to pet every dog I see and yes, it often makes me late for whatever I'm heading out to do.

I typically spend my leisure time

I've been spending a lot of time whipping up masterpieces and disasters in the kitchen lately. When not donning an apron you can find me on the ski slopes, at rock shows, roughhousing with my adorable bulldog, running, hiking, or just hanging out on thesofa with a good book and a cup of tea.

The most influential person in my life has been

I don't have a checklist of must-have traits. It is all about how the various parts come together to make you you. Of course it helps if you are clever, honest, and open minded, but then again, who's looking for a dumb, rigid, liar? I'm looking for someone who's kind, loves good food, dogs, and wickedly competitive games of trivial pursuit after too much tequila. Someone who thinks laughter is romantic, not candlelight and rose petals.

The first thing people notice about me

It may not be the first thing you notice, but after spending a little time with me you'll come to realize that I love tomatoes. And when I say love, I mean obsessed with.

The last book I read and enjoyed

"Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates" by Tom Robbins. It's irreverent, hilarious, and occasionally blasphemous, and I loved it. If you are looking for a deep, intellectual read this won't be for you, but if you want to be thoroughly entertained by an incredibly witty author, give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. The health and well being of my family
  2. Having friends who force me out of my comfort zone
  3. Mom's coco-mocha cupcakes (seriously - if you tried them, you would understand)

Friends Describe me as

Energetic, Genuine, Intelligent, Kind

A little more about me

I make a fantastic lemon cheesecake. I've had the privilege of a great education and fancy myself a smart cookie, but I'm as far from an intellectual as you will find. I believe in indulging in guilty pleasures. And I have never been arrested as far as you know. :)

Sports I enjoy playing

Hiking, Running, Skiing or Snowboarding

Sports I enjoy watching

Basketball, Football, Soccer, Tennis
