More about me

The one thing I am passionate about...

I fall down ? Laughing. I love to laugh and have a good sense of humor, most anything is humorous to me, at any time. I don?t like arguing and would rather look for a compromise. I enjoy deep conversations, I have an open mind and I can admit that this is a big universe, but that there is only one mind in the universe / we're all part of it, and I have much to experience, learn, and/or forget...

I typically spend my leisure time

Art and crafts, Hike, Read, Cook

The most influential person in my life has been

Easy Going, someone who knows who they are, or are still actively discovering more things, enjoys doing what they like, self-sufficient, has goals in life, things that need to be accomplished. To me, Happiness is being happy, being Happy. So I am happy, and want to enjoy things with someone else, to share enjoying what makes each of us happy. Try new things, explore each other?s interests. A partner to appreciate each other, ask for what we want from one another, and give that unconditionally.

The first thing people notice about me

I am a die-hard, romantic, and I must have depth and meaning in my relationships. Hugs, pats on the back, and thoughtful touches on the arm?they can all be ways to show excitement, concern, care, and love. Physical presence and accessibility are crucial to me, while neglect or abuse is unforgivable and destructive. Appropriate and timely touches communicate warmth, connection, and love to me. I enjoy heart-to-heart exchanges that explore personal philosophies, goals, ethical dilemmas, and the meanings behind art, music, poetry or some other abstract topic.

The last book I read and enjoyed

I'm currently re-reading 2, and working my way through a new third. Lord of the Rings, Watership Down, and Master and Commander.Imagery, setting place and history.Pure speculative adventure, noticing what's not apparent. Historical fiction, something about the Napoleonic age of sail, when the world was larger.

The three things which I am most thankful for

  1. Health
  2. Perception/Creativity
  3. Enjoyment of Life

The one thing I wish MORE people would notice about me

I fall down ? Laughing. I love to laugh and have a good sense of humor, most anything is humorous to me, at any time. The sculpture of my life will always be a work in progress, never a completed still-life - never complete, finished, done. Other than being perfectly me, I'm not compelled to be a perfect anything before I can feel good bout the things I do ever so imperfectly. Did you notice I left off the a in about - in the last sentence - and didn't go back to correct it??? Pretty impressive, huh? Well, my lack of "Good-enough-ness" in no way hinders the enjoyment I have in living.

Friends Describe me as

A little more about me

I don?t like arguing (discussions awesome) and would rather look for a compromise. I enjoy deep conversations, I have an open mind and I can admit that this is a big universe, but that there is only one mind in the universe / we're all part of it, and I have much to experience, learn, and/or forget... I am currently getting divorced. This was my second marriage, we were married for a longtime and like many of others, we shouldn?t have gotten married since we didn?t know each other well enough from the beginning. I believe it?s important to be one?s self, and not one?s ?Best approximation of what someone might want.?
